Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, our service charge does normally include the diagnosis. Most of the time, an issue can be found within an hour or so of diagnosing. On some rare occasions, the issue can be more complex, at which point we will communicate with you and let you know your options.

We highly recommend twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Something as simple as a loose wire connection caused by vibration can cause havoc to your system. A maintenance on your equipment can save you money and downtime during the extreme summer temperatures.

We would be more than happy to give you our honest professional opinion after evaluating your issue. While some companies make it their goal to sell you a new system whether you need one or not, we sleep better at night keeping things honest.

Some common things a customer can check are:

The batteries on the thermostat—if it takes batteries.

A dirty air filter—a dirty air filter can cause cooling issues.

A dirty outside condenser—with the power off on your unit, you can safely rinse off dirt and debris from your condenser to help your home cool better. If your condenser is dirty, there’s a good chance your unit hasn’t been properly maintained, and we strongly recommend you call us to thoroughly go through your AC or heat pump unit’s components and verify everything is operating properly.

Being in the heating and cooling business for many years, we see the deceiving ads out there. Many times, those great offers seem too good to be true, and they are. We don’t play with numbers to make you think you’re getting a discount, when you’re in fact not, or you’re getting a much smaller discount than what is advertised. We pride ourselves on price transparency and highly competitive rates.

Selecting the right HVAC company is crucial for your system’s performance and longevity. Look for a licensed and insured contractor with a positive reputation, transparent pricing, and excellent customer support.

While both cool your home, a heat pump can also provide heat during the winter. Air conditioners only cool. Heat pumps are more versatile.

We service and install a wide variety of brands. We are an authorized Trane dealer, but we can work on most major brands.

With proper maintenance, an air conditioner can last 10-15 years. Regular maintenance is key to extending your system’s lifespan.
